Annoying Beeps and Sounds in Windows (XP)

I've had those annoying sounds and beeps when closing windows, minimizing, opening windows, exiting Windows (XP), etc, that generally come with the theme. What's worse is that I assigned all those tones.

I assigned them 3 years ago, because I was bored, and 11. A stupid 11 year-old.

When I first assigned them, I actually went through about 12 menu's with shortcuts and such, just looking through Control Panel, and eventually found the damn settings menu. What an idiot I was.

For the past 6 months, I've grown more and more annoyed with the sounds to the point where I actually tried to fix it. Let's face it, as they say on Viciousduck.org, "Being lazy is a full-time job." (He also has been too lazy to update his website in a long time; his New Years promise was to make 300 posts or something, I think).

Well, I finally fixed it, due to Google and howtogeek.com's article, "Turn Off the Annoying Windows XP System Beeps," and now I'm happy. Personally, I'm embarrassed I didn't know how to fix it, but that can't be helped now. It's public.

Woops.
