My Other Project
Once again, v9 takes a backseat in this week. All week, I've been planning and acquiring parts for a coil gun, which is just fancy for an electromagnetic coil turning on with such power for a fraction of a second to launch an iron or steel projectile.
The reason I'm planning this so heavily is I'm potentially working with 1000volts, and I don't want to taser myself while building it. Plus, capacitors are annoying to find.
If you still have no idea what I'm talking about, go on YouTube and search coil gun. The first 10 results are good examples. When I'm done I'll post video of it.
Sandbox Fun
Now it's time for the gaming-related post for Sean and SlantedMindz, after the Web Design post. No, it's not about sandboxes, but it's sandbox-styled fun: do anything you want. It also happens to be in Modern Warfare 2.
WOOT Snow day!
Head of School sent an email to everybody at school, telling everybody we've got the day off. So we've got a snow day 12 hours before snow even forms.
My plans are to test a different cable arrangement for capturing video, play me some games, and take my day off.
Anybody else get even a delay?
