Project Updates
As you probably know, I've been "working" on version 9 for months now. I've made promises that I'd stick with x design, but next month it's y design. I just can't decide.
So I'm not. I'm going to use a previous design a made, then modify it and Wordpressify to it. I intend to at least use this one as a pretty placeholder until I can design from complete scratch a completely new design, but we all know that "will" happen.
So this should go quick, this Wordpressifying I mean, as this design's been bugtested months ago. All it requires is some footer modding non-PHP-wise, then it'll be set for the next stage. To be continued.
Remember that Client?
Remember back on the 4th of this month, I said I was asked to do the athletics section of my school's website? Well, with still no comments from the director, such as colors or what content's going to be on there and what they would personally want, I'm going to run headfirst into it, blind, and just show up with a mockup one day. Chances are they'll say yes, even if it looks like this.
So, what of this stuff?
I'll finish v9 soon, then, after, start the school's blind mockup. Thought you guys might enjoy an update, and a post.
FM 9.0
I've been sitting on a couple of designs for months now, and I've finally decided on one. We all know I've not yet had enough push to dive into wordpress, and that Fynmark here is sorely in need of a new, better design.
One of the designs I've been sitting on I sketched a week ago, and is very simple; a good design to start with. I'll be trying a googled wordpress tut, but if there's better ones I'll try to find them. Hope WP will be easy enough to learn.
FM 9.0 will have the same simistic feel that designs of late have been using, and few images for faster loading. Thank god, no sidebar, just a "footerbar" like Dan's. I don't know when I'll start, but I want to soon.
Any recommended tutorials appreciated.
Site Updates
Another update for the books. We've got a slogan change. No longer "where eons collide," I've branched out from that confusing tag to "beyond everything." it's a bit more like what this site's about.
As for the videos mentioned before, one is captured - still - and pending editing. Another's game film was lost so we're going to have to reshoot.
Update oh 2 done. I'm out.
