Forum Staff Decisions
Recently there's been a little controversy over the forum staff. I may or may not have hinted at Alec and/or Seth being moderators, but I did not say Ashton was. Sorry Ashton, it's not my fault you took me as talking to you. we were in a party chat, after all (LIVE reference).
Plans for Staff
Let me say it now. I am NOT promising staff roles or guaranteeing them. The two people I've talked to are good picks for the jobs, especially since one of my all-time oldest and most helpful members has gone M.I.A. Sliferz, if you're reading this, come home. We miss you. We never meant to hurt you. It's alright.
Jokes aside, Alec and Seth are two prime candidates for modship. Seth's very learned of forums and the rules that apply to all. Alec's a competent designer and anybody who's consistently coded in CSS and HTML knows to be dedicated. I've seen how Seth works, and I really would like to see how Alec works.
Both of these two gentlemen are exceedingly appropriate roles for the job. I can think of 2 more people I think can handle it - it's actually a VERY EASY job to be Staff on a small community site, though it also means you have more responsibility distributed to you. I'll make my decision when I must though. It's only the first day of relaunch, and decisions between two great people shouldn't be done hastily. Only time on the forums can tell.

It's Not Over Yet

Forums are Clean
The forums, deactivated since June 30th, are cleaned up. Ranks clean and groups pruned, with forums updated by previous activity. The whole thing's been refined - excluding the header, which is still undecided.
You might wonder at the spontaneous move towards bringing the forums back, but I've been spending a few minutes most days the past few months doing the backwork. The real reason I made the final pull was because somebody who doesn't care to remain anonymous, has been nagging me the past few weeks on bringing FMF3 back. His FMF username is Durbs, previously and well known as Camo, his Xbox LIVE is Strooks; feel free to thank him or just annoy him in any way. Tell him Tim sent you.
Staff
The staff's was cut in the very last week of the FMF3 run to Alex and I. But to make it easy, I'll list the positions below instead of a paragraph.
Administrators

Senior Citizens
Sliferz (full group abilities, "orange"), TheX (Xelander; no group capabilities, "blue")
Orange SCs are mods, Blue SCs are regular users.
Forums
All the forums have been re-done. There's still Announcements and Entrance Hall under Lobby, but the rest are below:
Help still has posts because some articles are archived to aid new users.
Activation Date
The forum's still disabled. No registration, no posting, no viewing even. I haven't decided on an activation date but you can assume Durbs will nag me to set one, or he'll tell me a date to set and I'll use it. Durbs, the unofficial FMF "Adviser."
New Affiliate
I forgot to mention this a while ago. We've got a new affiliate, "ThaFreedom" and it's a starting forum. Though, needs more members, so if you want to be a senior member on a general forum, check it out.
