General Updates – Moderator? Theme?
So we just experienced a have-hour of theme downtime on the forum. Some people may have encountered a General Error as well.
I was updating the header image on the proFormell theme and, as always, it took longer than expected. I accidently selected a diffrent default theme to be visible so I could edit proFormell, turns out it wasn't in the folder it was supposed to be (deleted), and i had to... I won't bore you with the details.
Basically the forum's got a new header image. And, if the header image is off a bit by several pixels, like it's not wide enough or 'quite right,' please take a screenshot, Prnt Scrn or Print Screen for Windows users, next to the F12 key or on that line, I don't remembert what for Macs. Just take a screenshot and PM it to me, preferably a cropped version like this. It's not a glitchy-header version image, this is how it should look. If it doesn't look like that, don't PM me about it. It's most likely not an issue. But if it does, send the image in a PM, then I'll fix it. The image must be original size, but can be cropped (full header image must be viewable, do NOT crop the edges of the header image).
Different update, and more user-related.
I've appointed a new moderator, against my previous wishes. The new mod's Forsaken, you can view the topic or his profile in these links. You must be logged in to view his profile. He's been appointed because I feel a need another helpful moderator. Nothing against Sliferz at all, I'm just saying i would like another helpful moderator. Alex (aka Newt) simply isn't active enough, though he's an Admin.
And on a different note, I've blocked almost 30 IPs from Fynmark.org, because of their spamming. I have no sympathy for them. If you're a loser enough to spam a blog in the first place, you're going to get banned.
Last note, Shadow's back from his temp-ban. He better watch out, his enemy's Forsaken now. A moderator.

I'd like to thank everyone that our activity has been up, and increasing.
Last weekend we were below last month's amount of activity, but now we're there and above some. It's nice seeing dramatic increases like that.
On to a bit sour note, I've banned 11 IPs, and counting, from Fynmark. I accidently deleted notifications of spam for about 27 comments, so I'm guessing that's about 25 IPs. I don't know why, but a lot of the spam is about Viagra. I'm not 80. I'm running great. Try some creative spam for a change, maybe try spamming in Japanese or Russian. Creativity lacks these days.
Sad note time.
Blog der Newt is dead. The killer of websites slinked into the blog's home. He slowly, but surely, proceded to kill BDN. It was over in a short while. I hope BDN can make a miraculous recovery. Back from the dead. But I fear it won't, and let's leave it at rest. It was nice in it's short life.

Big Update
As you can see, I've updated fYN to a new theme, this is fynmark.orgV3
So, I'm trying to figure out how to make the right sidebar wider, so the affiliates list fits in 2 each row.
I also added a text flipper. Found out I still had the code somewhere, so I uploaded and modded it, so you can see it now up in the NavBar. I also spammed bumped the FI affiliate link, so now fynmark is third from top on their affiliates page.
I'm thinking up a new tagline, I've been playing around with "where the eons collide", "where worlds explode", "where eons explode", and "where people come out un-normal". Last one was a last ditch effort. Tell me what you think, by commenting now.

Retired Staff Members on the forums have also had their permissions rippted, now it's just like normal users. I also made a signature banner, you can look at the topic here. Hope you use them.
I think I'm leaning towards "where eons explode/go boom". One or the other. Well, I think that's just about it for now, so head over to the forums and join, and learn pivot techniques if you don't know the, laern how to animate if ya don't know how, or even better join so you can be one of the older members in our community and have a big chance at getting VIP in a few months.
And I almost forgot. We're hosting the first ever Plan-Imation. It's like a joint, but tons do it, in the same .piv file, so it's a collab... joint. Topic
