Wondering

Lately I've been bored as hell so I looked up a game that I thought looked good.

It was Burnout Paradise.

I've always loved racing games. The faster, the freer, the better. Burnout Paradise is set in a city made from bits and pieces of older Burnout cities. You might think a few things look familiar, but aparantly they've revamped a lot.

But, upon hearing there's an online freeburn mode -- freeburn is Burnout Paradise's name for free-run, free mode, whatever, they say open city -- and with online freeburn, when you want to play with friends, your cities just overlap. No loading, just inviting your friends and once they've accepted, they're in the city with you, and you with them. But that got me thinking.

I always end up coming up with strange glitches, not finding them, but making them up from what I see. What if, when you and your friend(s) are playing, and the instant your cities "become one" -- Now, as background information you're both going very fast on the same street, both of you driving strait down the middle, and you're about 50 yards apart -- the instand your cities "become one," because you're essentially both there, you crash.

Broken-Down:

Car A and Car B are on same street. Both cars are driving down the middle. When both their cities become one in Online mode, they're coming strait at each other -- barely 50 yrds apart. What happens when the cities become one in Online mode? The cars head strait into each other. I'd like to see that happen, actually. Be pretty funny playing with your friends. All of a sudden you just crash.

Burnout Paradise is the newest Burnout game, featuring a free-world, open-play gameworld. Criterion, the developers of it, are constantly making new things for Burnout Paradise as expansion packs, available for download and some to purchase online via your console. They've already come out with "Codename: Cagney Pack," "Bikes Pack," "PlayStation Trophies Pack," "Burnout Paradise Party Pack." There's many more to come, along with a whole world update -- a new island to explore. CriterionGames.com
